Getting the company ready

In addition to complying with the IPO pre-requisites, the company will need to review its structure, board
and corporate governance procedures before the IPO.
It will also need to decide whether to put in place an employee share option scheme and an executive
incentive option scheme.
New non-executive independent directors should be chosen who complement the skills mix of the existing
board. They should be appointed early so that they have the opportunity to get comfortable with the IPO
process.
